The city of Boulder
was part of the Nebraska Territory until 1861, when the Territory of Colorado was created by the U.S. Congress. It served as a supply base for miners going to the mountains in hopes of striking gold. As more people started to migrate to the area, a railroad was established, along with a hospital, school buildings, and a stable town government. Since then, Boulder has continued to grow and thrive into the flourishing city it is today.
A drive through this hip town will reveal a variety of architectural styles. Home styles include Victorian, American Craftsman, Brutalism, and Mountain—just to name a few. The diversity in architecture allows you and your family to find the perfect fit for you!
